My Top Ten Movies of the 21st Century So Far

Last month, the NY Times polled over 500 professional filmmakers, costume designers, actors etc and came up with a list of the best 100 movies of the 21st century so far.

This is my top ten. Some predictable boy stuff , some of the best Asian stuff, a documentary and Mike Leigh’s Another Year which remains a gem so hidden, it didn’t even make the NY Times top 100. (And I’m not sure I wouldn’t swap something for Parasite, truth told. But what …)
